My name is Rianne Kooistra, and I’ve been passionate about horses since I started riding at the age of four. That passion quickly turned into a professional journey in dressage, and by the time I was six, I was already competing. At twelve, I began riding at national and international level with ponies. At fifteen, I was selected as reserve for the European Championships, and at sixteen, I proudly competed at my first Europeans, achieving strong results.

After my pony years, I moved on to horses and competed successfully in the Junior and Young Rider divisions. During this time, I also worked as a rider at a stallion stable, where I gained valuable experience training a wide variety of horses. I truly enjoy developing horses from young, green horses to advanced dressage athletes and helping them reach their full potential. I’ve trained and ridden up to Grand Prix level.

In addition to riding, I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. I love guiding riders in their training, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and connection with their horses.

To complement my work in the saddle, I also specialized in bridle and bit fitting. The right fit is essential for comfort, clear communication, and peak performance. My approach brings together correct equipment, thoughtful training, and individualized care to support both horse and rider in achieving their goals.
